The portions here are very generous! I can usually eat a lot, but I was seriously full by the end of the meal. We tried the Bulgogi Meat Box, Spicy Pork Meat Box, Squid Stir-Fry Cup Bap, and Spicy Tuna Kimbap. The grilled meats had a really nice smoky flavor, and both the bulgogi and spicy pork went so well with rice. The Squid Stir-Fry Cup Bap was especially interesting. It had plenty of squid, and the Yum Yum sauce gave it a slightly different, creamy flavor that worked surprisingly well with the spicy squid. We also added some of the Big Sister’s side dishes and kimchi stew. The banchan were really tasty and made the whole meal feel more complete. You can tell they understand Korean food beyond just the main dishes. Overall, the food was flavorful, filling, and very satisfying. They also offer catering, so I think this would be a great option for group meals or events too. Definitely a good spot in Duluth if you’re looking for hearty Korean food and generous portions.

Literally the best Korean food in town!!! Everything was soooo good and I just couldn’t stop eating 😂! You really taste the wood fire in the meats— everything has such a wonderful flavor, what’s not to love? Everything was fresh and out of this world delicious! I will certainly be coming back, regularly for some good home-y Korean food ❤️‍🔥 their tteokbokki is addictive !! You have to give them a try when you order! The ladies behind the counter are very nice as well! I hope this business continues to get the attention it deserves!

The service, food, and atmosphere all excellent! We wanted to try something new and we were glad we chose this restaurant! The service was great! I was able to ask questions about the menu and they made some good recommendations. We tried the combo plates with bulgogi rolls and it was great! I would recommend to anyone looking to eat good korean food. Bonus - It didn't make me feel groggy or tired afterward. I even had some leftovers to take home. I just wish they would stay open longer - they close at 8 pm.

Not fancy, not trendy... but the food? Good I completely forgot my sacred duty of taking pictures before eating. Had the teriyaki tofu and all the veggie sides, and everything was delicious. Don't let the outside fool you— Bonus points for the staff, who kindly brought food for our toddler as a sweet gesture. Great food, kind people, and a happy little one. That's a win in my book.

Don’t let the quiet, no frills atmosphere fool you. Big Sister’s Kitchen delivers seriously good food. This is very much an “Auntie” style spot in the best possible way...comforting, generous, and incredibly value driven. The portions are huge for the price. You absolutely get more than your money’s worth here. On my first visit I ordered the Spicy Pork Meal Box, which is a perfect introduction to the menu. You get a main protein, rice, and multiple sides, an ideal way to sample several dishes in one go. The sides were standout: crisp cucumber salad, rich corn cheese, and especially the kimchi, which had real good flavor and wasn't too, too spicy. Everything tasted freshly made and clearly prepared with care, not rushed or mass produced. This feels like the kind of place locals keep to themselves. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Korean food with big portions and fair prices, this is an easy win. Great for families, casual dinners, or anyone who wants a satisfying meal without spending a fortune.
